Before joining a group class at PFC, you must complete Pilates Basics Modules 1 and 2. These are small group classes held the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month on Mondays at 5:30 pm and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. (If these times and days do not work for you please call the studio for private Pilates basics sessions.)
In these modules you will learn important principles of posture and alignment along with Pilates fundamentals which are at the foundation of every exercise you will do in class. In addition you will spend an entire session on the Pilates Reformer learning how to safely adjust and use this extraordinary piece of equipment in a group class setting.
Upon completion of the basics modules you and your instructor will decide if you are ready for a group class. You might benefit from repeating the modules or taking advantage of the New Client Special for 3 private sessions.
First and foremost we want you to feel confident and safe on the equipment when you join a class!
